Privacy Policy

RPN Deck collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

What the app collects

Nothing. RPN Deck does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs.

The camera and the microphone

Scan uses the camera to read amounts off a receipt, and Voice uses the microphone and Apple's on-device speech recognition to hear numbers. Both run entirely on your iPhone: no image, no audio, and no text ever leaves the device. Each permission is requested only when you first open that mode, and the app works fully without either.

What stays on your device

To let you pick up where you left off, RPN Deck saves your current stack and tape locally on your iPhone. This data never leaves the device, is readable only by the app, and is removed when you delete the app. If you use iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup, this saved state may be included, the same as any other app's data — that backup is controlled by you and by Apple.

Purchases

RPN Deck is free, with one optional in-app purchase (the Full Deck) sold through the App Store. Apple handles the entire transaction; the app talks only to Apple's StoreKit to show the price and confirm the purchase, and never sees your payment details. The developer receives only Apple's anonymous, aggregated sales reports.

Network access

Apart from that App Store purchase check, RPN Deck makes no network requests. The calculator, scan, and voice all work identically in airplane mode.

If you contact support

If you email support@rpndeck.com, your message and address are used only to answer you — never added to a list, never shared. Mail is handled by an EU mail provider and stored in a personal mailbox.

Children

RPN Deck is safe for users of any age. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new effective date; changes affecting a released version are also noted in that release's App Store update text.
